This guide mentions
/spawnbut we're working on a new spawn area, so anytime you need to use/spawnplease use/warp spawninstead for now!
Welcome! You've been whitelisted, you've spawned at spawn, and you're wondering what on earth do I actually do. This guide walks you through your first session, a handful of things that make everything afterwards easier.
Beakscraft is a peaceful, semi-vanilla server with an economy and no end world: no griefing, no raiding, no surprise PvP, an optional economy domination grind. You're safe to take your time.
1. Spawn
Spawn is the safe place where every member lands upon joining the server. It also serves as somewhere factions can request special teleports for their faction to be added to the wall!
To use a button, you can walk up to it, left click, and be transported to the faction home.
Use /spawn to get back to the spawn.
2. The Economy
The economy is best described as the way players earn money and trade on the server.
You can read the guide about economy basics here → or visit the shopping district with /warp shop to have a walk around.

3. Factions
A full walkthrough — creating a faction, inviting members, and the commands that go with it — is coming in its own guide. We'll link it here when it's ready.
A factions is a group of players that band together under one name, build a shared home, or empire, and grow their corner of the world together. They share resources, builds, farms and everything inbetween. You don't have to join one, and you can even create your own!
The short version:
- Team up. Start your own faction or get invited into an existing one.
- Build together. A faction shares a base — somewhere to call home and build something bigger than you could solo.
- Still peaceful. Factions don't fight each other — no raiding, no PvP. The rivalry is friendly: who builds the grandest base, who runs the best shops, who climbs the economy fastest.
- Get on the wall. Established factions can request a special teleport at spawn so anyone can come visit.
4. Time to explore
With the basics handled, it's time to get out there and start exploring. You can either walk out and start exploring or, use /tprandom to teleport to a random spot up to 5000 blocks from spawn. The world border is 25000 from spawn.
Once you've found somewhere to settle down and make your own, at least for the time being, it might be worth adding it your homes list!
/sethome <name> Save a named home (e.g. /sethome mine)
Then, from anywhere:
/home <name> Back to a named home
Set one wherever you decide to settle. You can have up to three, so a
/sethome base and a /sethome farm go a long way.
Some key commands for exploring:
/warp shop The player shopping district
/spawn Back to spawn
/tpa <player> Ask to teleport to someone
/tpahere <player> Ask someone to teleport to you
/map The live map link
If you ever need to delete a home, you can use
/delhome <name>
Remember when building your home. to head out a little bit so you're not right on top of someone else (see the rules — give neighbours room)
5. That's it for the basics!
If you ever need help, feel free to ask in the in-game chat, or through discord! We have a lovely friendly community that we're genuinely proud to be building, so welcome!
Here's some other guides and pages that might be useful:
Good to know
- It's peaceful by default. No one can attack you or your build. If you want to fight, PvP is opt-in at the arena — see PvP specifics.
- Don't take what isn't yours. Not from chests, not from builds, not even one stack. The rules are short and worth a read.
- Ask freely. Stuck on something? Drop a message in chat, or ask in the Discord — the community is friendly and someone's usually around on one of the two.
That's the whole first session: set a home, find your spot, earn a little, and get your bearings. Everything else you can pick up as you go. Welcome to Beakscraft — go build something. 💚
