Built something you're proud of? We'd like to put it on the builds showcase.
The flow is friendly, all we need is some info about your build
and the images in the 🦈〃「content」 forum!
1. Take a screenshot
In-game, press F2 to save a screenshot to
.minecraft/screenshots/.
A few tips for shots that look great in the grid:
- Wide framing. Cards are 16:9, so step back and capture the whole build with some sky/ground for breathing room.
- Weather & time. Find the right weather and time for your builds. Some look better at sunset, others need a downpour of rain to match the vibe.
- No HUD. Press F1 to hide your hotbar, then F2. Press F1 again to bring it back.
- F5 sometimes helps. Third-person can frame builds where first-person feels cramped.
- Optional polish. Crop it down, bump the contrast a touch. Don't over-edit — the build should still look like the build. Edits aren't a necessity.
You don't need a perfect shot. A clear one is enough.
2. Post in the 🦈〃「content」 forum on Discord
Create a post with the image (or images, if there are good ones from different angles) along with:
- Title — short, descriptive. "Spawn cathedral", "Cobblestone generator v3", "Harbor town: phase 1".
- Builder(s) — your Minecraft username, plus anyone who helped build it. The showcase credits collabs first-class.
- Tags — a few words that describe what it is. Things like
farm,redstone,town,megabuild,spawn,harbor,cottage,decorative. Reuse existing tags where they fit (browse the builds page to see what's there). - A short description — one or two sentences. What's the build? Anything cool about how you made it? Where can you find it in-game?
Example message:
Hey! I'd love to submit my farm for the builds page.
- Title: The best dirt hut ever!
- Builders: Jishux
- Tags: home, dirt, legendary
- Description: The best dirt hut a builder could build. No need for any of that fancy stuff, just me, some dirt, and 30 furnaces.
Screenshots attached.
That's it. A staff member will review and we'll get it uploaded! Once uploaded, your build appears on /builds.
3. Want it updated?
The showcase is meant to grow with the server. If your build changes, expands, or gets demolished by lava, post under the same forum thread or create a new post with updated screenshots and they'll refresh the card.
If your build is a new build, feel free to submit, we're looking to fill the page!
If a collab partner leaves the server but the build's still theirs too, leave them credited. Builds don't unbuild themselves.
